EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Edmunds has 39 years
experience in the land surveying profession. He has 31 years of
surveying experience exclusively in the South Florida area and
has been a registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of
Florida for 25 years.
- Currently, as vice president
of Leiter, Perez & Associates, Inc., Mr. Edmunds
has at his disposal a compliment of 4 permanent survey
crews with the capability to expand to six if necessary.
His field crews utilize the finest technology available
to the surveyor which includes EDM (electronics distance
measuring) devices, and total stations with data
collectors capable of inputting directly to a CAD System
for processing on computers that are state-of-the-art
hardware. He is presently involved in several High Rise
projects in the Miami Beach area. Critical piling
construction is "As-Built" in the field by
utilizing a Total Station unit that records measurements
in a data collector. This in turn is interfaced to the
office CAD system by the way of a modem connected to a
telephone. The result, an As-Built drawing reflecting
design versus constructed positions and all location
errors all available in a matter of hours.
- Since Leiter, Perez &
Associates, Inc. is a full service engineering, planning
and land surveying company, Mr. Edmunds strives to
maintain the surveying department to the highest
standards and to compliment all services furnished by
Leiter, Perez & Associates, Inc.
- Mr. Edmunds has served in
the capacity of project manager for many residential and
commercial developments in the Miami-Dade County area. His responsibilities
included initial boundary and topographic surveys, site
planning, platting (including all phases of processing
through the necessary agencies), geometric design of
roadways, sidewalks, utilities and final construction
layout.
- Mr. Edmunds has extensive
experience in topographic work and cross-sectioning for
volume computations. He has performed numerous
calculations to determine cut and fill quantities.
- Mr. Edmunds was the
project manager for the survey of the Charles Deering
Estate. This included a boundary, topographic and mean
high water survey performed to the specifications of the
Florida Department of Natural Resources. This survey was
used in the acquisition of this Estate which is now a
Miami-Dade County Park.
